Pomegranate Vase in White on Speckle clay (01)

Handmade stuff just feels better! This vase is no exception, and whether it’s on your breakfast table filled with a fresh bouquet or at your desk holding a few pens, this pretty pot is just the thing to brighten your day. I am exploring more organic shapes in my work, and this one is inspired by pomegranates.

According to medical historian A. R. Ruis:

“The pomegranate symbolized cyclical, dualistic relationships between life and death, fertility and barrenness, childhood and motherhood.” Gastronomica, Vol. 15, No. 1 (Spring 2015)

This vase is 3.75” tall, 4.25” wide and has a 2.75”  wide opening.

Our pottery is food safe and fairly durable - it can even be used outdoors. 

Our pottery is microwave safe and can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Measurements may vary due to the handmade nature of our work. During updates, questions on sizes may not be answered immediately. Note that these are glazed pieces, and glazes pool and drip in unexpected ways. Each spent its time in a different spot in the kiln, and can never be recreated.
