Plant Native Round Wall Hanging with Native Leaf impression (FA46)

Spending time in nature is one of my favorite things to do. These hanging pieces are made with the intention of reminding all of us that we are connected to one another - plants, people, and all the other organisms that call Earth home. Each piece is formed by hand, stamped with an inspring message, and impressed with plant leaves from our gardens, so this is truly a unique piece to add to your home or garden. Twine is included in case you want to use that for hanging.

This piece measures about 9 cm. It can be hung outdoors throughout the year.

This moon is impressed with leaves from Wild Geranium (Geranium maculatum), which blooms in early spring all along the forest floor. A variety of native wildlife is supported by the flowers, seeds, and foliage of this plant, including a specialized pollinator, a kind of andrenid bee, Andrena distans. Wild Geranium is indigenous to eastern North America.

Measurements may vary due to the handmade nature of our work. During updates, questions on sizes may not be answered immediately. Note that these are glazed pieces, and glazes pool and drip in unexpected ways. Each spent its time in a different spot in the kiln, and can never be recreated.
