Tree Ornament with Native Leaf impression (FA61)

Spending time in nature is one of my favorite things to do. This ornament is made with the intention of reminding all of us of the importance of refilling our greenspaces with native plants! We all have to work together to keep our home - Earth - safe and healthy. Each piece is formed by hand and impressed with plant leaves, so this is truly a unique piece to add to your home or garden. Twine is included in case you want to use that for hanging.

This tree measures about 13cm. It can be hung outdoors throughout the year.

This piece is impressed with leaves from Halberd-leaf Rosemallow (Hibiscus laevis). This native hibiscus has many large flowers that open for a single day, but new buds emerge throughout summer. Many species of butterfly and moth larvae eat the foliage, and the flowers attract a variety of pollinators as well.

Measurements may vary due to the handmade nature of our work. During updates, questions on sizes may not be answered immediately. Note that these are glazed pieces, and glazes pool and drip in unexpected ways. Each spent its time in a different spot in the kiln, and can never be recreated.
